On the fourth day of the rain-affected Dhaka Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, seven Bangladesh players returned to the pavilion for just 71 runs due to Sajid khan’s spinning balls.

Sajid khan’s devastating bowling from Pakistan broke the back of Bangladesh and took six wickets, while one player got run out.

At the beginning of Bangladesh’s innings, openers Mahmood Al Hassan, Najam Al Hussain Shinto, Lytton Das, Shadman Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mehdi Hassan were dismissed by Sajid Khan. At the same time, Hassan Ali ran out Mominul Haq.

The fourth day of the match started with Pakistan’s innings in which Azhar Ali was bowled out for 56 by Ibadat Hussain, and captain Babar Azam scored 76 and was bowled out for LBW by Khalid Ahmed.

Due to bad weather, the game started late on the fourth day. Today the game game has been played out of at least 86 overs rather than 90 overs.

On the third day, due to continuous rain, not a single ball could be bowled, while in the first two days, only 63.2 overs were played.

The test match is moving towards a draw as a single inning has not been completed. Bangladesh need 26 runs more to save their team follow on and only have 4 players left.

Pakistan has already a lead of 1-0 in the two-Test match series.
